I'd rather the sort of people who like drinking in these places stay there to be honest.

Still hopefully we'll go down, and they can fuck off back to what they used to do on Saturdays.

Is the crate the one that said we're not welcome?

Hopefully someone will burn that down along with the OS

Was at the Plough on sunday. very close to stadium and they have one of those machines that can pour 8 pints in 10 seconds. Atmos wise a bit sterile but no more so than the crate or howling hops.

Only problem with Howling is that they don't do pints - only 2/3rds pint glasses or pitchers. However they have a decent number of staff behind the bar so no queues.

Crate do pints - and if it's dry on matchdays before the match they have a pop-up bar outside that serves pints of IPA, larger and cider. Minimum time to queue unlike inside.

The Carpenters Estate is such a vibrant, cosmopolitan area, isn't it.

Plough in the sunshine is very nice.

Beats the fucking Duke by some distance.

Howling definitely has a much bigger range of beers. Beers of many different styles. Going to walk the 20 yards from the crate to there once I've had my hipster pizza.

Prefer Howling to Crate. Better ale I'd say, and not as up it's own arse as Crate has now become.

What's this Howlinghops place like next to the Crate. Is it the same lot or are they seperate.

Looks like some good ale. Anybody tried it?

Fans are spoilt for choice for decent places to drink now which aren't too far from the stadium.

Another win for the LONDON STADIUM.

That thing from KNUMB that ended up in last nights Evening Standard about the Crate, about fans chanting and jumping in the canal made me chortle.

Wandered how it long it would take before some fans started behaving like shoping trolleys.
